If properly cared for they are designed to be passed down from generation to generation. Well made & beautifully designed, these items are not meant to be shoved into a closet, but to be displayed proudly when not in use. Many of these merchants have been making their goods for decades, and often times centuries. These are expert artisans in their craft, and the results are evident.

Since 1889 Iris Hantverk brushes have been made by hand, by visually impaired craftsmen. Environmentally & socially sustainable. FSC certified Swedish hardwoods with animal hair & plant fiber bristle brushes. With a commitment to craftsmanship & equal opportunities for the visually impaired, as well as workshops employing craftsmen with mental disabilities creating breadboxes & other products. Today there are 17 employees, 6 of which are visually impaired craftsmen making the brushes according to the same old Swedish traditions.

Family owned company in Austria dating back to the 17th century. The first-ever stemware line to custom-craft + contour each glass based on character of the wine. These glasses sets are varietal-specific, meaning there is a specific glass for each wine region, designed + dedicated enhance the taste of that wine to its fullest potential. Insufficiently-sized glasses will cause various wines to have faults that they otherwise wouldn’t have, such as overly mineral, bitter, or harsh characteristics. The timeless style of these pots originated in 1860 in Copenhagen. The vessels were called “slot pots” after the danish word for castle. Handcrafted in a small village in Tuscany using the finest clay. Use indoors or out. Enjoy their patina as they age gracefully, and hand them down to the next gen of gardeners.
